A gastronomy universe


Having a blog to write about gastronomy and food is not something I ever imagined having, but now here I am. 
To start off, I decided to write about what gastronomy is in my life today. Food has always been present in my life journey, and cooking is something I always enjoyed doing, but it was at an extremely delicate moment of my personal life that cooking became my therapy.  
Studying Gastronomy was not in my plans at all, but today I can't even imagine not being here. In these last semesters, I learned so much about food, ingredients, techniques, history, and culture. Seeing in great detail all that seemed simple before. I can, inside this culinary world, research, understand and write. I see science, diversity and so many feelings, and write about it with my own words.  
It is incredible to meet so many people, chefs, professionals, scientists, and other amazing personalities within this food journey. 

This blog is starting as an adventure proposed in one of my courses, International Cuisine 1, and even though this is going to be graded, I am putting all my heart into this project, so it can go beyond the minimum requirements; this blog will live forever in me.
